When shopping for a reseller hosting provider over a year ago, I had one primary consideration – it *must* use SSD hardware. I initially signed up with A2 Hosting and was really pleased until I discovered there were certain packages that did not get compiled into their hosting package. I had to start again looking for another suitable host.
Doing some more research, I discovered InMotionHosting. They were offering an initial signup discount that was too good to ignore. It was almost by chance that I discovered one of their best selling points – they include a FREE license for WHMCS with their reseller plan. That made the value proposition impossible to resist.
Even after renewing my hosting plan at the “normal” renewal price, I feel like I’ve got a good deal for the amount of space and bandwidth in my package. Barring some competitor coming up with a better price, I can’t see myself switching any time soon.

I have been using inmotion hosting for the past couple of years and I have to admit that I am less than impressed. I have had numerous issues with slow servers and as of right now a server that has been down for over 24 hours and they have no idea when it will be fixed. Their customer support is almost impossible to get a hold of and the wait times often exceed 30 minutes. I host a number of business websites on this server and I am afraid that I now have no other choice but to find a different server provider. In my opinion, inmotion is no longer a viable option for anyone who values their clients and their own businesses. It really is too bad when a company falls into a state of such poor service.

I’ve been a client for over a year now, I’ve bee incredibly satisfied with not just the services, but the guidance, education and support from all the staff. I had been with the company for 3 years until May 28 2017. I notified the company that I will not renew my subscription 2 weeks before my renewal date. But the company charged my credit card a full year subscription regardless, even though the auto-renew button in my account was turned off. The company refunded my money after I disputed about the charge. My credit card company charged me exchange fees for the 2 transactions because my credit card account is Canadian. I called the company again to ask for reimbursement of the charge because of their mistake. They refused to do so. Now I'm paying for their mistake. Beware of the company's billing practice!!!

My honest opinion...
InMotion Hosting is just plain awesome. They provide excellent service and have not let me down yet. Their customer support is GREAT! Another thing is that if you do not want speek with someone one on one, they have sooo many articles out there with other people’s questions and will most likely answer yours as well.
I’ve only needed to talk to an actual person once about a personal site error I was having and my representatives help me fix it right away. If you need a bang for your buck and reliable hosting provider, InMotion Hosting is the BEST way to go!!

I have used Inmotion for over a year and the story is as follows ....
The service started great until I needed them to perform some simple tasks such as migrating websites and upgrading accounts. Once you actually need inmotion to do anything other then the initial setup it turns in to a complete nightmare. I have had over 20 emails back and forth and phone communication over the past 30 days making sure they mirgrated 3 basic websites from a vps server to a shared hosting all on there platform. I will be moving back to Hostgator in the next few days where i have had hosting in the past. Yes hostgator does have some issues in terms of supporting certain platforms etc however overall they are much less stress. Sometimes the grass is not always greener. If you can work through some inode limitations of hostgator which is not to difficult then stick with them its the best option to be honest.

The implementation of the software was quick, painless and came with very straight forward training sessions that had our team up and running quicker than I expected. From sales to training and support, everyone was very responsive and helpful. I've used several other platforms and this is by far the most intuitive/easy to figure out -- and easiest to get others trained on and using.

Ability to copy/edit and save a new project request would be a welcome addition.

Recommendations

Involve as many people as possible from your team on the web training sessions offered during implementation -- it really helps with adoption internally when they get to see how easy it is to use.

4 years with InMotion Hosting

Inmotion is a very dependable web hosting company that I have been using for 4 years now. I have a VPS server that I used to manage all my client's accounts. It’s very easy to add different sites to my VPS server. Support is very reliable with InMotionHosting.com, too. I can always trust that if I need to get in contact with them they always help me right away.
I can’t stress the importance of using InMotion Hosting. I used to use Hostgator which was a nightmare. Thankfully I did switch to InMotion 4 years ago. I have referred several people to them over the years, too.
